INFICON MAC Addresses

About INFICON MAC Addresses
MAC addresses beginning with 00:A0:41: are manufactured by INFICON. When you see a device on your network with this OUI prefix, it indicates that the device was manufactured by INFICON.
The IEEE assigns OUI prefixes to manufacturers to ensure uniqueness in the global networking ecosystem. INFICON has been assigned the OUI prefix 00A041 (among others) for use in their network devices.

MAC Address Format
A complete MAC address consists of 48 bits (6 bytes) and is typically represented in hexadecimal format with each byte separated by a colon or a hyphen. For INFICON devices, the MAC address would look like:

The first three bytes (00:A0:41) identify the manufacturer as INFICON, while the last three bytes are unique to each device.
