JRI MAC Addresses
This page provides information about MAC addresses and OUIs assigned to JRI. The Organizationally Unique Identifier (OUI) is the first 24 bits of a MAC address and is assigned by the IEEE to uniquely identify a vendor or manufacturer.
About JRI MAC Addresses
MAC addresses beginning with C8:3B:45: are manufactured by JRI. When you see a device on your network with this OUI prefix, it indicates that the device was manufactured by JRI.
The IEEE assigns OUI prefixes to manufacturers to ensure uniqueness in the global networking ecosystem. JRI has been assigned the OUI prefix C83B45 (among others) for use in their network devices.
Common JRI Devices
Devices manufactured by JRI that you might encounter on networks include:
- Network interface cards (NICs)
- Routers and switches
- Wireless access points
- IoT devices
- Embedded systems
- And other networking equipment
Identifying JRI Devices on Your Network
To identify JRI devices on your network:
- Use network scanning tools to list devices on your network
- Look for MAC addresses starting with any of the OUI prefixes listed in the sidebar
- Use our MAC address lookup tool to confirm the manufacturer
This can be particularly helpful for network inventory, troubleshooting, and security auditing.
MAC Address Format
A complete MAC address consists of 48 bits (6 bytes) and is typically represented in hexadecimal format with each byte separated by a colon or a hyphen. For JRI devices, the MAC address would look like:
C8:3B:45:XX:XX:XX
The first three bytes (C8:3B:45) identify the manufacturer as JRI, while the last three bytes are unique to each device.
